Gaharu - Bisnes

Nampaknya usahawan gaharu semakin bercambah. Pepatah Melayu "Sudah gaharu cendana pula" mempunyai makna yang agak berbeza kini - sesudah berjaya bisnes gaharu ceburi cendana atau bisnes lain pula. Selain dari haruman minyak wangi yang dihasilkan oleh gaharu, daunnya juga boleh dibuat minuman teh. Iaitu pada peringkat awal penanaman pokok gaharu, daunnya diproses menjadi teh gaharu. Peringkat pematangan gaharu memakan masa sehingga 6 tahun - kulit kayunya diproses menjadi minyak wangi. Ianya dipanggil teras atau "core". Proses memasak teras tersebut memakan masa sehingga 2 hari 2 malam. Syarikat yang menawarkan projek penanaman gaharu tersebut ialah Jiwa Realiti Sdn Bhd dengan bantuan Koperasi Ukhwah yang boleh memberikan modal untuk projek penanaman pokok gaharu di Pahang Darul Makmur. Mengikut maksud hadith Rasulullah SAW, "9 dari 10 punca kekayaan/rezeki ialah dari bidang perniagaan." Nama gaharu dalam bahasa Inggeris ialah agarwood.

Solat Tahajud

1. Melazimi solat malam ( tahajud ) Ada keterangan bahawa amalan solat tahajjud memudahkan memperoleh rezeki, menjadi sebab seseorang itu dipercayai dan dihormati orang dan doanya dimakbulkan Allah 2. Offshore Structures - Design Aspects

One of the key issues in the design of offshore structures is to define the environmental conditions for the transportation route and installation site, and to determine the environmental loads acting on the structure for conditions such as transit, installation, operational extreme and survival. The parameters to be defined in the environmental conditions may be found from design codes such as API Rp 2T, among of several other codes. The prediction of extreme values is required for the structural strength evaluation. Various methods have been proposed for determining the extreme values. Both long- and short-term (surviving storm) wave data approaches are detailed. The aim here is to give an overall picture of the environmental conditions and loads for offshore structural design, and to detail the recent developments in the prediction of extreme response. Random Loads

We must design structures for random loads. In such circumstances there can be no absolute guarantee of safety. The best we can do is to create a structure with a known and acceptable probability of failure. We define failure as any circumstance in which load>strength. This would be true for any internal (load effect) as well as any external load. Both load and strength are random quantities (random variables). The probability of failure is thus the probability that load exceeds strength. We have a system of two random variables, and failure will occur for every cases in which load>strength. Typically we use open-tail probability density functions (eg Normal) so that values theoretically go to ±∞. The total probability of failure must cover all possible values of load and strength. Failure can occur for any strength level, because it is always possible that the load is even higher.
