KEISTIMEWAAN SURAH YASIN Sebahagian ulama berkata: Antara keistimewaan surah Yasin ini, di mana tidak dibaca dalam keadaan sukar kecuali Allah mempermudahkannya. Begitu juga bacaan surah Yasin ketika berada dalam sakaratul maut, akan diturunkan rahmat dan berkat serta dipermudahkan keluarnya roh. Sebahagian ulama berpendapat bahawa sentiasa membaca surah Yasin pada semua waktu boleh memudahkan sebarang urusan tetapi mereka berpendapat sunat dibaca pada hari Khamis kerana keluasan rezeki, hari Selasa menolak daripada kezaliman dan selamat daripada musuh seterusnya hari Ahad untuk mencapai kedudukan yang terpuji. Walaupun begitu, ramai ulama telah mengamal bacaan Yasin dan didapati cukup mujarab berkenaan dengan permintaan dan hajat yang diajukan kepada Allah Rabb al-Alamin. Firman Allah SWT: Yaa, siin. Demi al-Quran yang mengandungi hikmat-hikmat dan kebenaran yang tetap kukuh. Sesungguhnya engkau (Wahai Muhammad adalah seorang Rasul) daripada Rasul-rasul yang telah diutus, yang tetap di atas jalan yang lurus (agama Islam). (Quran, surah Yasin: 1-4)
