Dari Abu Hurairah RA, katanya: "Rasulullah SAW bersabda: "Sesungguhnya Allah Ta'ala berfirman - dalam Hadis Qudsi - : ... "Dan tidaklah seseorang hambaKu itu mendekat padaKu dengan sesuatu yang amat Ku cintai lebih daripada apabila ia melakukan apa-apa yang telah Ku wajibkan padanya. Dan tidaklah seseorang hambaKu itu mendekatkan padaKu dan melakukan hal-hal yang sunnah sehingga akhirnya Aku mencintainya. Maka apabila Aku mencintainya, Akulah yang sebagai telinganya yang ia gunakan untuk mendengar, Akulah matanya yang ia gunakan untuk melihat, Akulah tangannya yang ia gunakan untuk mengambil dan Akulah kakinya yang ia gunakan untuk berjalan. Andaikata ia meminta sesuatu padaKu, pastilah Ku beri dan andaikata memohonkan perlindungan padaKu, pastilah Ku lindungi." (Hadith Riwayat Bukhari).
