Abu Daud meriwayatkan dari Ummu Darda', dari Abu Darda' RA, dia berkata, "Siapa yg berdoa menjelang pagi & sore (petang) hari, "Cukuplah Allah SWT sebagai Pelindungku. Zat yg tidak ada Tuhan selainNya. Kepada Nya aku bertawakal. Dialah Zat Pemilik 'Arsy yg agung." (Quran, surah at-Taubah, ayat 129), sebanyak tujuh (7) kali, kecuali Allah SWT akan mencukupkan apa yg menjadi harapannya." (Hadith riwayat Ibn Asakir, Tafsir Ibnu Kathir. "Allah SWT is sufficient for me. None has the right to be worshipped but He, in Him I put my trust & He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne." Glorious Quran 9: 129.
