The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Be in the world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer." - Sahih Bukhari. What does it mean to be a wayfarer? It means your heart is attached to your destination, not to the road. You do not burden yourself with excessive material possessions, for they would make your travels difficult. You may enjoy the journey, and you may share it with someone you love, but in the end all you arrive with is your heart, your soul and your deeds.
