‘Arsy lebih besar dari Kursi, sebagaimana dijelaskan oleh Rasulullah shalaallhu ‘alaihi wa sallam :
أن السماوات والسبع والأرضين السبع بالنسبة للكرسي كحلقة ألقيت في فلاة من الأرض، وأن فضل العرش على الكرسي كفضل الفلاة على هذه الحلقة
“Sesungguhnya langit dan bumi yang tujuh dibandingakn dengan Kursi Allah bagaikan gelang yang dilempar di tanah lapang, dan keagungan ‘Arsy disbanding Kursi bagaikan tanah lapang dbianding gelang” [10]
Ini menunjukkan atas agungnya makhluk-makhluk Allah. Keagungan makhluk menunjukkan atas keagungan Penciptanya.
