Nabi Muhammad SAW menyatakan, “Setiap orang di kalangan kamu menjadi penjaga dan orang disoal berkenaan jagaannya. Pemimpin negara adalah penjaga rakyatnya, dia disoal berkenaan rakyatnya. Suami penjaga keluarganya, dia disoal berkenaan tanggungjawabnya. Isteri adalah penjaga rumahtangga, dia disoal berkenaan urusannya. Khadam adalah penjaga harta majikannya, dia disoal berkenaan tugasnya. Anak adalah penjaga harta peninggalan ibu bapanya, dia juga disoal berkenaan pengendaliannya.”
