Allah SWT berfirman yang bermaksud: Dan kami turunkan al-Quran yang menjadi ubat penawar dan rahmat kepada orang yang beriman. (Quran Karim, surah al-Isra': 82) Allah SWT juga berfirman dengan maksud: Orang-orang yang beriman dan tenteram hati mereka dengan zikir kepada Allah SWT (al-Quran al-Karim), ketahuilah dengan zikir kepada Allah tenang tenteramlah hati mereka. (Quran Karim, surah al-Ra'ad: 28).
