Naval Architect. In this role you will be responsible for:
1 Performing stability calculations;
2 performing structural analysis on vessels and various structures;
3 using hand calculations and/or software (ANSYS, FEMAP);
4 designing and analyzing offshore floating production structures;
5 applying software tools to estimate wave statistics and determining the long term impact of ocean waves on the hull structure;
6 utilizing design codes and regulations applicable to offshore structures; performing stability analysis and compartmentation to develop vessel layout;
7 developing load cases for the project;
8 supporting site team with naval related activities; selecting candidate vessels;
9 performing vessel strength calculation structure reinforcement decisions, buckling and fatigue calculations, vessel ship motion, and hydrodynamics calculations.
