Sentiasa berdoa dan meminta daripada Allah SWT: Sabda Rasulullah SAW: "Tiga doa yang mustajab tanpa syak. Doa orang berpuasa, doa orang dizalimi dan doa orang mengembara." (riwayat al-Uqaili dan Ibnu Asakir; disahihkan oleh al-Albani dalam al-Silsilah al-Sahihah, no. 1797). Hadith ini mendidik jiwa Muslim agar merendah diri kepada Allah SWT dengan berdoa sepanjang masa tatkala berpuasa.
