Hadis Rasulullah SAW yang diriwayatkan Anas bin Malik yang bermaksud: Suatu ketika Rasulullah ditanya tentang dosa besar, baginda SAW menjawab: Yang termasuk dosa besar ialah menyekutukan Allah, derhaka kepada kedua orang tua, menamatkan nyawa orang lain bukan dalam hal yang dibenarkan agama dan sumpah palsu. (Riwayat Bukhari).
