Make plenty du’ās (supplication) to Allāh.
Perform the prayer of need (salāt al ḥājah).
Be punctual with your religious obligations such as daily prayers etc.
Brush up and upgrade your skills in your field.
Contact EMPLOYMENT or recruitment agencies.
Network with people and let them know you are in search of A JOB.
Post your resume / CV on relevant websites.
Volunteer your time at companies related to your work/ field
Regarding your family, it is important to communicate the reality of the situation with them. You should let them know about all your efforts to search for a job. Remind them of the Islamic values related to family and respect. Remind them of the temporary tests and trials that everyone is put through at some point in life. You may also want to get a community imam or elder to talk to your family regarding your situation.
Continuous efforts, a positive approach and du‘ā’s will open doors of success for you In-shā Allāh.
“Whoever fears Allāh, He brings forth a way out for him and provides him (with what he needs) from where he does not even imagine. And whoever places his trust in Allāh, He is sufficient for him. Surely Allāh is to accomplish His purpose. Allāh has set a measure for everything.” (Qur’ān 65:2 & 3)
“What is with Allāh is much better than the amusement and the merchandise, and Allāh is the best giver of sustenance.” (Qur'ān 62:11)
“As for those who strive in Our way, We will certainly take them onto Our paths, and indeed Allāh is with those who are good in deeds.” (Qur'ān 29:69)
“Sūrah al Wāqiah (chapter 56 of the Qur’ān) is the sūrah of WEALTH, so recite it and teach it to your children” (Ibn ‘Asākir)
“Whoever desires to have an increase in their sustenance and in their age, should join family ties. (That is, he should fulfil the rights of his next of kin and assist them physically and financially according to his ability) - (Ṣahīh Bukhārī)
