To succeed in his career a Naval Architect/Ocean Engineer must have: 1. A lively interest in ships & the ocean; 2. An enquiring mind with a liking & aptitude for things mechanical & scientific and 3. A capacity for clear & logical thought & sound judgement, including critical thinking; 4. Skills in project management, cost estimating, maritime software applications, etc.
